RAINOUTS & FIELD STATUS
Please use the Vikings website as your source for information about field closures/rainouts. Vikings has volunteers out at the fields, often by 5AM or 6AM, checking field conditions and the webpage is updated accordingly. You can link there from the home page using the "Fields Status" link on the left button or the direct link.
IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Viking Rules. Has your

may only applaud. Talk to your coach if you are unclear. Sabado Silencio (Spanish version) l.
3. Field schedules are
completely booked from early to late, please show up 15 minutes
early dressed and ready for referee checkin (or earlier if requested by your coach to warmup) so your
team will be ready to play at the game start time. Click field
locations for directions and specifics.
4. Take your trash with you. We
are responsible for making sure that all trash is removed from fields. If trash cans are full or not there take it home with you. At Morton and Lowell, you must take your trash home.
5. Snack Location: At any turf field: Crocker, South Sunset, Franklin and Garfield, please have snacks outside the field area, not on the plastic surface. There is no food allowed on the plastic turf.
6. Dogs. No dogs are allowed on any field. Please leave your pet at home.
7. Game Day Preparation: Before
the first game, coaches must make sure all passes have the correct
player and coaches pictures on them and have them ready to give
to the referee. Also, if you are the home team you are required to provide the game card. The away team fills in their team information at the game. Game cards are in the packets handed out to coaches at the Mandatory Coach
Meetings.
8. Why
can't you get your schedules sooner?
Often, we do not receive our field permits until August. Please do not hound the office as it only keeps them from helping the schedulers post the schedules.
