Player Release Instructions If a player wishes to release from a team, they can do so as long as the team does not drop below the minimum roster size. The team may need to first find another player before releasing a player. Keep in mind that "release" means the player no longer wishes to play soccer for the entire season (which includes both fall and the following spring). If the player wishes to transfer to another team, please see the transfer instructions. 2) Parent and a registered Coach/Manager sign the form where indicated. 3) Submit the signed #1606 form to your League along with the player pass and original #1601 registration form that the coach should have if near Sept 1. Prior to that, the League should have these items. 4) UH or Travel teams should always surrender their goldenrod (official team roster) with any roster changes. If you need your roster for credentials check (tournament) please communicate with Vikings via email at: sfviking@pacbell.net Note: If the parent is requesting a refund, they will need to do so in writing (attach note to form) prior to the first game of the season. The note should include the name of player, name of payee, amount paid, form of payment (i.e., check, Visa, Mastercard, etc.), and address to send refund. The amount of the refund will be the amount paid minus a $25 administrative fee. Please allow 2-4 weeks for refund. There are no refunds given after the season begins. |
