Player Adds:2014-15 Player Requirements New Player Adds -
The last day to add a player with guaranteed opening weekend play is FRIDAY, August 8th.
(Players may be added to rosters through the first half of the season, but passes are not guaranteed to be ready for late players in advance of opening weekend.)
PLAYER TRANSFERS. If you need to transfer a player onto or off of your team, this can be done manually - same process as last year.
To be clear, during the summer, we are preparing rosters and printing passes, scheduling games and securing fields -- the priority is teams as registered, THEN late adds and transfers. Manage expectations of parents and coaches because these changes will not happen overnight.
To manage your team once you've registered yourself, use the registration URL given to your team - then at the top left, where it says "User Login", log in. Your My Account tab will default and you'll see all kinds of info. Scroll down to the bottom and you'll see the teams you're a team manager for plus a link which says "Edit". Click through and there you can view your roster, etc. (Note that this link will not work until your background clearance is confirmed. In the meantime, call Affinity at 877-700-1470 to ask about status.)
Player Passes --
Team Managers MUST REVIEW YOUR ROSTERS.
If your players are missing pictures or birth docs, take care of it now. If your coaches need photos or to be LiveScanned, have them get it done ... Understand that passes can't be printed for incomplete teams and teams cannot play without passes. There are more than 500 teams - please help us help you by reviewing your rosters today.
Prep teams - all players need to have either this symbol to the right of their name (indicating that the player age has been verified by District) - OR - have a to the left of the player name (indicating that an image has been uploaded meant to be a birth doc).
ALL Teams - New players and first-time Prep players should have birth doc. CHECK the document by doubleclicking on the player name and make sure it is in fact a birth doc and that it is legible. If you can't read it, neither can District. Ask for another and upload a replacement.
ALL Teams - Player photos should be clear and rotated upright. Clicking on the player photo will open an edit window which you can use to rotate, crop, etc. To replace a photo, Delete the current pic and upload a new one.
