Frequently Asked Questions

When do I get paid?
Payments will be made after the end of the month throughout the season for all reported matches on or by the middle of the month. All referees (including AR's) report scores by Sunday evening after your games in order to get paid. For example: Games reported for November matches will be paid by December 15th. (We try to get them out before then.)

What if a team doesn't show up to the game?
If a team does not show and there is a default you are paid anyway - please report score as 1-0 forfeit win and the winning team name.

What if I don't show up to the game?
If you fail to show up for a game, you will have to referee one game free for us for each game you miss. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice to us that will be treated as a no show unless we can find a different referee. The reason for this penalty is that when a referee does not show for a game (which only rarely happens) teams are left in a very difficult position.

How do I report the scores to the Vikings Office?
All referees (including AR's) report game report for each game by 12 noon the Monday following each game, whether you are a CR - center refeee or AR - assistant referee in order to get paid. Click on the "Report Scores" button in main menu, then select Referee Report. Referees do not have to return game cards but should keep them until the end of the season in case of any mistakes by the office.
