Fall
2008 Schedules
The schedules will not be posted until the end of August.
Please check back then.
IMPORTANT
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Viking Rules. Has your
coach given you a copy of the Spectator
Code of Conduct and discussed the Summary
of League Rules? If not ask him or her about
it as your coach is responsible for ensuring that spectators and
teams comply. For spanish versions click on here.
2. Silent Saturday
is Saturday October 11. Click
here
for more information. Spectators
may only applaud. Talk to your coach if you are unclear.
3. Field Schedules are
completely booked from early to late, please show up 15 minutes
early (or earlier if requested by your coach to warmup) so your
team will be ready to play at the game start time. Click field
locations for directions and specifics.
4. Take your trash with you. We
are responsible for making sure that all trash is removed from fields.
If trash cans are full or not there take it home with you. At Morton and Lowell, you must take your trash home.
5. Dogs. Many fields
have rules prohibiting dogs on the field. In particular, Polo,
Beach Chalet, Grattan, Silver Terrace, Hamilton and Lowell. Please leave your pet at home.
6. Game Day Preparation: Before
the first game, coaches must make sure all passes have the correct
player and coaches pictures on them and have them ready to give
to the referee. Also, if you are the home team you are required to provide the game card.
The away team fills in their team information at the game.
Game cards are in the packets you receive/d at the Mandatory Team
Meetings.
7. Why
can't you get your schedules sooner?
Often, we do not receive our field permits until August. Please do not hound the office as it only keeps them from helping the schedulers post the schedules.
